A question I get asked frequently is "how did you get into this work?" The answer is quite simply by a set of circumstances that guided me to do something that I love and feel passionately about.

As a society we have become too ingrained by qualifcations and this can deflect from the truth of somebody being born to work within a particular field and using their gifts to enhance their lives, bring healing or just joy.

I learnt much of what I now teach by experience, yes I have qualifications and I have studied with some of the best teachers in their fields, Caroline Ingraham and Amelia Kinkade, however I learnt the most valuable lessons from the animals themselves. I listened and they taught - it's as simple as that, and I would love to share that perspective with as many people as possible because that's when the joy is really experienced, seeing the gratitude in a person's or animal's eyes because I have made a difference to them.

I qualified as a Holistic Aromatherapist at the Tisserand Institute in 2000 and then discovered that Caroline Ingraham taught Animal Aromatics so in 2002 I gained my Diploma in Animal Aromatics at the Ingraham Academy of Zoopharmacognosy. Once I started working with horses, I gained my own unique style and my natural ability to communicate with horses developed. A friend introduced me to Amelia Kinkade, an American Animal Communicator and I trained with her to strengthen my communication skills. In 2007, I studied and qualified in November 2007 in Hypnotherapy under Costa Lambrias at the Academy of Holistic Hypnotherapy.

As I worked with animals, I realised there was a gap in my skills base to help the horses and their owners more profoundly and my good friend, Gary Quinn, CEO of The Touchstone for Life Coaching Programme took me on as a private client to train and qualify me as a certified Touchstone for Life Coach in 2009.

However, the biggest leap I have made is though Darren Eden's course - The Transformation and it is the knowledge and skills that I have learnt with him, combined with my existing experience which has taken my work to a unique level and from this platform I can offer so much more to enhance your life and health and those of the animal's that you love.
